Fresh violence shook terror-ravaged Sri Lanka on Friday, less than a week after the Easter Sunday bombings that killed 253 people, amid a massive hunt for around 140 people linked to the Islamic State group. A gun-battle erupted as security forces raided a suspected bomb workshop in Kalmunai when five or six people “had begun firing at them,” said the Army.
