LOS ANGELES, USA – Hollywood actress Anne Heche remained hospitalized in critical condition, comatose and hooked up to breathing equipment in the early hours of Monday, August 8 4 days after inflicting serious injuries in a violent Los Angeles car crash, the spokesperson for the artist confirmed.

Heche 53-year-old Heche is in hospital after the small car she was driving spun out of control in the Westside neighborhood in Los Angeles late Friday morning and crashed into a home and caught fire as per police.

“At this time, she is in extremely critical condition,” He said to Reuters in text messages, noting to the message that Heche “has a significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention.”

The Los Angeles Times quoted a Venice Beach salon owner, Richard Glass, recounting a visit made by Heche to his store just before the accident. saying she was “a sweet little girl” after she bought the red wig on a Friday morning.

Heche gained notoriety due to her Emmy-winning performance on the daytime TV show Another World and continued to appear in various other screen roles, such as her role in the HBO show Hung and films such as “Wag the Dog” as well as Cedar Rapids.

Her name was featured in tabloids in the late 1990s, for having an affair with comic Ellen DeGeneres around the time when DeGeneres was publicly announcing that she was lesbian. After their breakup, Heche wed cameraman Coleman Laffoon however, they eventually separated, and she spent several years in an affair together with the actor James Tupper, her co-star in the short-lived television show Men in Trees.
